I am Meat released their debut self-titled album late, in June 2020, with the grace of Ex Gratia Recordings. Machine Separated Remixes will upload to
iammeat.bandcamp.com. For pictures, stories, the bio and original album, we humbly invite you to

The remixes so far range from and integrate psychedelic funk, dark ambient, noise and uptempo dance.
Compass Lost, (Confinement Remix by Private Plebs) was started in 2013 using original noise loops and includes Michael Norris spectral effects. A remix is closely associated to dance music, so the Confinement Remix answers that with modern realities of unprecedented disillusion with direction, despair and inactivity.
The video, produced in 2021, mismatches disparate locational footage, mostly of travelling, of a world slipping away too quickly to grasp as one gets more lost away from Home. Set against the current backdrop of modern hopelessness, it might be suggested that great isolation and imprisonment have many parallels to being lost.
Gardyloo's Spew's saxophone is the guiding force amidst David's obscured poem, which can only be heard audibly in the original version.
With good chemistry being at the heart of music making, we are eager for your subscription, feedback and support. You can donate to these efforts and help them continue by purchasing tracks and albums of any amount at
iammeat.bandcamp.com and
